Understanding before acting
During the practice, coaches give lots of information, instructions, and corrections. It is crucial that players understand their actions. At times, it is beneficial to see the problem from a different perspective. More knowledge gives you more inspiration, imagination and the sense of innovation. The more you know, the better you will be.
Our practice is to give players a visual perception of every topic we cover. During the workshop, we were discussing about the purpose of dribbling and we agreed that dribbling is a skill when you are able to take advantage over a closely marked opponent.
In addition to regular training, we added futsal session. Games in small areas often encourage dribbling actions and, also, it is fun to change training environment and playing surface.
Motivation makes players better.
