Today we had a guest. Guess who!

It was a special day. We had pleasure to share time with a great person, player and a friend, Andrei Agius. Andrei is an international Maltese player who was playing past ten years in Italy in several clubs; last year he spent with local champion Hibernians. He dedicated full day to our camp to pass on his experience with knowhowsoccer students. The main topic was individual and group defending, area where he made trademark in his carrier. Players were motivated to learn and practice their moves. Focus was on timing in defending, keeping balance, diagonal covering, keeping players tight, braveness, and courage.

Theoretical session was prepared to cover functioning of various types of team formations and their strengths and weaknesses. Information and instruction were given on general players positioning with and without the ball and on how to behave when opponent is in possession attacking from different areas on the pitch. Above all interesting and educational lesson for our students to understand insights of the game.
