Training practice as a copy of the actual game
Simple progression and upgrade from the previous day. We built on where we stopped yesterday and created further various situations where players had to react to the challenging situation that occurred during the game. Some of them were: receiving the ball while turning to get off the marker, reacting to the 1v1 situation when not facing the opponent, heading the ball and timing of the run after landing to receive and pass. Most skills were learned when the training sessions were copied situations from the actual game. The dedicated coach must recognize those moments and put them into practice.
We stayed into football but changed the venue. More skills, more agility, more quick thinking equals futsal. What a fun way to finish the day. The great facilities give us inspiration thanks to the National School of Sport.
