Passing as a technique or passing as a skill?
Passing can and should be practiced during exercises or drills, but the maximum outcome for the players is when it is put in a concept of the real game. When players are placed in the area on the pitch where the action is actually happening, the opponents are allowed to win the ball, and most of all, to react after the passing whether it is correct pass or a mistake. The player must react to the situation and either move to the space to receive the pass back, or to correct the mistake that happened. Passing as a technique is one thing, but passing as a skill is on the higher level.
The second week is behind us filled with enthusiasm, joy and improvement in all areas. We are looking forward to the new challenges and are calling all our players to stay focused as they are now.
